Spinal Dynamics

Spinal Dynamics gives you a deep understanding of the spine, its function and its relationships to the rest of the body.

Learn what structures of the body not only restrict the spine but also how restrictions in the spine can affect the structures and function of the entire body.

Experience the function of the spine in your own body through Franklin Method Embodiment experiences.

Learn practical tools and hands on strategies to help resolve stubborn issues that prevent optimum movement and structural balance in the spine and body.

What's Included . . .

  • 3 Functional Embodiment Trainings: Experience and understand the unique structural and functional dynamics in each aspect of the spine and how it relates to the rest of the spine and body.
  • 3 Skills Lab Trainings: Learn how to think about and address issues in each area of the spine with advanced hands on structural and functional techniques.
  • 2 Bonus Trainings: Learn about postural dynamics and advanced seated back work to integrate into your sessions for even better results with back pain.
  • 2 Bonus Self-Care videos featuring Functional Stretching routines for therapists.

Over 3 hours of content exploring each aspect of the spine!

Cervical Spine

The cervical spine is uniquely mobile which means it can end up compensating for its neighbors in the thoracic spine. Often overlooked are the muscles in the lamina groove that coordinate the segmental relationships

Thoracic Spine

Chronic lack of thoracic mobility (particularly extension) contributes to lower back pain, shoulder issues and injuries, and neck stiffness. Understand what impacts the thoracic spine and how it should move.

Lumbar Spine

The lumbar spine must provide foundation and stability while also being able to transfer force, load, and motion between the pelvis and the thorax. It's a tricky position to be in and requires a delicate balance.

We're Lynn and Ann Teachworth

We integrate 40+ years of education and experience in structural integration and functional biomechanics to help make good therapists great.

Our trainings are designed to expand how you think about the body rather than just give you routines. We know that when you understand the body in a more dynamic, comprehensive way, you can apply your hands on skills for more dynamic, comprehensive results.
